Outstanding work! :xyxthumbs It`s really great to see a black car when it`s been detailed properly.

What kind of prep work did you do the car prior to Klasse? Can you tell us which product and pad combo you used if you did this project with a pc?

Here is what I did

1. Cooled car down in shade (no garage)

2. Washed with blue Dawn

3. Clayed with Mothers and Meguiars quick detail spray

4. 3M SMR for dark colors with a rotarty and black foam pad

The hood STILL has a few swirls

5 Washed with Sonax car shampoo

6. Applied first coat of AIO (really rubbed it in well)then after 30 minuts added a 2nd coat of AIO just a thin layer

7. Waited an hour then buffed the AIO off with DavidB`s waffle MF

Also had to us the Sonus spritz to remove some of theAIO residue

8. Wiped drool off Black Shiney car :D

9. Spread a little to much SG and let that set up for about 30 minutes.

10. Got the Sonus out again to remove the SG in spots.

11. Went around car looking for more drool......... because the car came out B-E-U-T-I-F-U-L !:bounce

I am putting the 2nd coat of SG on today.

jonw440,

Great Job ! :bow :xyxthumbs :bow

That is what I call a transformation! I love to see a well detailed black car, especially when it is done right.

Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

Looks great! :xyxthumbs

Question.....you stated that you waited an hour before buffing off AIO....did you have any problems with removal? The few times I`ve left AIO to sit more than 10-15 minutes it was a bear to remove. Perhaps I applied too thick?

Again...nice work.

OH yes I did!!!

I resorted to Sonux QD (the one made for Klasse stuff). A little on the MF and it buffed of really easy.
