Hi,
Is Autoglym super resin polish abrasive enough to remove swirl marks?
I`m going to spend the weekend cleaning my car and I was thinking that, instead of using Scratch X, I was going to use the super resin to clean up the paintwork before the omega glaze and blitz wax.

Ryan328is - In my experience, SRP is quite low-abrasive. It won`t remove swirl marks, so you`ll still need to use something with (mild) abrasives first. BTW, I DO really like the SRP :xyxthumbs

Super Resin doesnt even remove water spots!
I apply it just like a wax with minimum pressure.
You might have bonding issues with putting the glaze on top or before.

The resin is mild, but it is worth a try. You will need to apply a fair amount of pressure and then go over again using light pressure.

You can try their Paint Renovator - its more aggressive. Autoglym however reccomend a couple of tries first with SR.
Light swirls will come out, deeper ones will need the renovator

Hi Ryan....why not just use Special Touch to clean the paint? I assume you are using 1-Grand products based on your description of "omega" and "blitz"....I have had great results with the S.T.....Good Luck!....Gene
