Afternoon Everyone,

Those with silver cars.......what polishes/sealants/waxes do you use?

I am trying to achive some depth, gloss, and wetness in the paint of my 2003 GTP.

My usual detailing regiment is Megs #3 machine polish followed by Megs #20 with #26 Paste topper. The car looks great after I`m done......but doesn`t have the deep wet look I`m loking for.....I know silver is difficult.....but is it acheivable?

Thanks,

George

S.E.C. "Shine Enhancing Cleaner"

Just work it in real good in a back and forth line. Wipe off.

I also clayed the truck before the sec.

The problem with Silver is unless you view it from the side, it really doesnt "pop".

I have heard Klasse looks good on Silver. It just so happens I just bought AIO and SG for my Wife`s car:D

"I promise I will only use it on her car"

Well I`ve got a Lexus GS300 and its silver. The best results i`ve had were with Zaino topped by S100. Klasse would probably work the same way. Give it a try and post pics!

This is EX + S100. I love the combo, very deep, wet, rich look

Currently: Lots of Klasse SG layers, and S100 wax on top. You probably can`t get a lot of "depth" with silver though (hey, it`s silver!) but when I was done last year I did think the paint looked quite wet and glossy. All this is subjective though and some people could call it a bright, hard shine if they wanted to. I just wished I had paid more attention to the way it looked untopped beforehand though....

I know I know, I promised no more pictures for a couple of days; my fingers were crossed!:D Here is S100 SEC + #7 + #20 + S100 paste wax. Since I already own a dark coloured truck, I can honesty say, I really love silver!!:xyxthumbs

I have my favorite as klasse combo and s100/ps21, until I used EX!! I say try AIO, EX and top withs100/ps21:up . You would have the sahinies and most deep looking paint.
