Have been away from board a year or so.

When last here the hot ticket was Blitz wax. Now it`s S100,could someone point me in the direction of this change.

I have used the search and can`t find the turning point.

Just trying to get up to speed.

Bunch of new products.

Nice to see the detail evolution.

Thanks.

S100 also doesn`t have Blitz`s reputation for staining trim. :up It`s also usually available locally from motorcycle shops, which is another big bonus. I think S100 really started to catch on just last year sometime.... maybe in the fall or late summer if I remember right.

I understand is easy to find and doesn`t leave the white smut`s. But how does it last compared to Blitz, and what about beading. Was looking for someone who has a "wax test".

Through the spring and summer last year, the buzz developed. Scottwax championed S100 bigtime. It was his blue Acura TL picture that sold a lot of people on it. I bought my first jar in July 2002. It has lasted until now and I`ll be opening my second jar this week.

I believe it was our Mayor, DavidB, that started it, though.

From 2/25/02:

"Let me tell you a secret... the good folks who make P21S also make a line of products for motorcycles called S100. The S100 wax is the same as the P21S wax... but the list price is only $14.95. IMHO, this wax is second only to Pinnacle Souveran. At $14.95, it`s a deal and a half!"
