View Full Version : Can you layer these waxes?
Was wondering if you can layer these waxes? Not together but individually.. I`m planning on using Meguiars Gold Class wax or Meguiars #26 and was wonder if it`s possible to layer of those since the durability of them is not so great.

Gold Class is a cleaner wax, so it will just strip the previous layer of wax. The #26 is ok to layer though.

I knew it, no wonder my car looked less reflective and shinier after I applied GC over #7. Any idea if I can do #26 over Gold Class? And how long do I have to wait before I can layer #26 again

Use the paste #26 not the liguid. It last longer. Some fell that liquid is easy to put on and take off. Try the paste. It out last liquid wax.
You could put #26 over GC, but I think you`d be better off skipping the GC all together and just do (whatever), #7, #26.
