I have used Lexol, Four Star and a few others over the years. I recently used Poorboy NL on my tan colored BMW leather. I have to say that the finish was great and looked just as good if not better than the other leather care products.

On my black leather it is hands down a better finish. From what I know about leather in cars these days, they are clear coated. Is leather conditioner really doing anything if its not soaking into the leather, but really just sitting on top?

How did you apply the NL? Did you wipe on and wipe off at the same time or let it haze and then buff off?

The NL is a vinyl protectant, and doesn`t need to haze. I like to apply mine with a foam applicator, and lightly buff with a low knap MF towel to remove any excess.

That`s a heck of a good question! There are pores in the clear coat finish on the leather. I suppose some of the conditioner can get in that way? :dunno
