As above ..... Anyone knows how much pressure to use by hand ? I know I will keep rubbing till it becomes powder but the pressure used is .... ?

Sure, I use sponges all the time. As long as they`re clean and new I see no problem.
As for pressure, use moderate pressure to apply. It`s hard to say and easier to do. Don`t worry too much, try various techniques to see what works for you. There is no right or wrong here, its just something you have to learn by trial and error.

Bretfraz does use sponges but just to be certain are your taking about sponges or foam applicators. Can you describe the sponge you use?
I remember some confusion about this and I was wondering too. Is it:
A) Cellulose sponges

The sponges I use are what you see in 4DSC`s pics. Its those cheap kitchen sponges that come in a "5 for 99 cents" package. I hate those little foam discs and refuse to use them unless I absolutely have to.
Its just a polish app so use whatever little tool you like.
