I took delivery of this SUV in January and the runningboards are getting all scratched up and look awful (I know they are meant to step on) but, they really detract from the looks of the rest of the vehicle. Trailblazer is dr gray metallic w/several coats of zaino and really looks great, except the runningboards. Any thought other than removing them entirely. Thanks for your time -

Just my $0.02 - I have running boards as well on my Pathfinder. They aren`t needed and just create a problem with people hitting and scratching them when getting in. However, I keep them because they protect the lower panels of the car from rocks and other road debris.

I would just clean them up as best you can with all purpose cleaner, then protect with stoners trimshine or something similar to hide as much of the scuffs as you can, but thats about all I can offer.
