Buffer bonnets?

Hey guys, I have a 10 inch orbital buffer that I have been using and I use terry cloth bonnets to apply wax/polish and the fluffy fine wool bonnets to remove. I have been reading the labels on the products that I use, and some of the posts on this site and it sounds like most people use foam bonnets/pads to apply and terry cloth to remove. What do you guys use/recommend? Any big difference in results?
