Hey everyone-

I have a client who has a 1987 Buick Centry station wagon that is white, but has that fake wood trim on the outside of the doors. A woody replica so to speak. It looks like a sticker type of application meaning its not real wood. I was wondering what would be the best product to use on something like this?

Thanks in advance...

If the applique has a white hue(dry looking),it`s probably old wax embedded in the grain ....Mineral Spirit(Varasol) is a good pre-wash prep...Any product that does not contain wax(I prefer Zaino)should be used for gloss and protection....When buffing do not let your product dry completely...When it is about 80% cured you can start...You can use a little higher speed than normal since you are not polishing paint...Always be careful not to build up too much heat...Hope this helps and it looks like "New Money" when your done!!!....Don`t forget to always clean and detail the spare tire!!!!!.....
