I started learning with you guys on January about detailing, though I`ve detailed since I can remember, with diferent techniques and almost no products.

Now I own a detail business, but my car was my best practice. I`ve done it with the best arround in what concerns protection/durability/gloss.

Here it is, it took me weeks!

...after washing and clayed...

Prep (no, I didn`t go the wet sand route yet ;) )

Menzerna`s Fast Cut - Where needed

Menzerna`s Intensive Polish - As much as needed

Menzerna`s Final Polish - Untill glass like finish

Sealant

2 x Klasse AIO & Menzerna`s Sealant Wax (one on each side)

2 x Klasse SG

2 x Platinum UPP

Wax

1 x P21S

1 x Pinnacle Liquid Souveran

-/-

1 x P21S every week

QD & wash sometimes.

Soon I`ll receive Clearkote and Poorboy`s products, though I`m not thinking of breaking all in my car to use them. I`ll try them in costumers cars.

So from what I understand, the art or process of polishing out those nasty swirls and scratches begins with more abrasive substances, down to much finer solutions.

How durable do you notice the protection of this technique?

With the due care, I`m sure it`d last at least on year, if not more...

Don`t you hate it when that happens. :wall

Nice shine btw! :bigups I`m still hanging with the carnuba crowd, but I may cross to the other side and use a sealant one day. I still have a new bottle of #26 I need to go through first. :D

If you dont mind me asking, do you use a rotary or DA polisher?

I`ve only used a rotary. My DA is still in the Germans customs waiting to be cleared. Even the AIO was applied with the rotary.

How is the AIO and SG holding up on thepaint over the polish you have used before the Klasse application? Does it work?

After the polishment the paint was so clean, so bright it`d accept anything.

Menzerna`s polishers don`t have oils or other fillings. Their sealant wax is similar to Klasse AIO, and it`s for use after the FP.

They all work fine toghether.
