I was browsing the 3M site tonight and I came across a new (I think) addition to the Perfect-It III line: Show Car Machine Glaze, P/N 39012. This is what 3M says about it:

Fast cutting machine glaze designed to remove swirl marks, minor scratches and light oxidation from the harder finishes of today`s automotive paint systems.

Has anyone used this stuff? I am currently using the regular Perfect-It III Machine Glaze, P/N 05937 and have had great results with it, but I`m curious about the Show Car glaze. Here`s the link to it on 3M`s website: Show Car Machine Glaze (http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/auto_marine_aero/automotive_aftermarket/node_GSV4S6J59Mbe/root_GST1T4S9TCgv/vroot_GSLPLPKL4Xge/gvel_GS8V45YN4Pgl/theme_us_aad_3_0/command_AbcPageHandler/output_html)

They both seem like exactly the same product, just packaged and promoted differently. Their MSDS are identical. If there is a diff in the two products, it`ll be minor.

I have to agree with bretfraz. Probably the only way to find out is to email their tech dept and see.

Thanks Bret, that`s what I suspected too.

I believe it`s entirely a packaging size issue.

You`re forgetting though, Show Car sounds cooler. :p

I`d buy it! :D

I am interested to try out some of this... from what I have gathered it`s supposed to be inbetween FI-II and SMR.

I have tried it but it is a plain to wipe . if you doing it with hand you have to be real quick after you put it on.:wall :wall
