I am almost used up my souveran. I use it exclusively for my black S80 (I use s100/ps21 on my silver C70) after applying a sealant first.

I would appreciate any suggestions on what carnauba topper I should try for a black car. Thanks:o .

What about Top of the line Trade Secret Carnauba Wax? That`d be the one I`d go for.

FNG,

It was my next logical choice, but I wanted to see if I was missing any other ones (besides, I already have it in stock;) ).

If you do a search, I think I remember the Top of the line Trade Secret Carnauba Wax being repackaged Pinnacle Paste Glaz wax. I know for sure there were some quite extensive posts on this before because I asked about it.

It is still a great wax from what I`ve heard. I would go for the S100. I have Souveran as well and I reach for the S100 because of its longer durability (atleast compared to Souv.) and it doesn`t attract nearly as much dust.

Bob S.,

I heard about TS (actually I have sampled it). Thanks for reminding me. I think I might stay with s100/ps21 and give it a chance.

I just used Pinnacle Paste Glaz and S100/P21s on black, IMO the S100 looks better. PPG is more reflective, where as S100/P21s had a deeper look.

I agree about MW. Check out ClearKote, they have a great line of products.

NYD and Scottwax can both back the VM and MW up with some awesome pictures.

The following products in this order:

Clearkote`s Vanilla Moose, Car Polishes Final Polish and S100 Paste Wax.

If you want to stick with one product line,

Clearkote`s Vanilla Moose, Moose Wax and Quikshine (see the pic of the limo I posted in the gallery).

Either option will yield absolutely stunning results.

ashsarna,

Do you like the results you get with Souveran?

Are you topping some kind of sealant with Souveran?

I have recently tried Poorboy`s EX Sealant and I really like it. For a dark color, I think several layers of EX followed by topping with Souveran is a killer combo! :xyxthumbs

Here is a pic with 3 layers of EX with a Souveran topper.

I agree, I would take Souveran (or P21s/S100 or even Pinnacle Paste Glaz) over a cleaner wax anyday.

I won`t be without Souveran or P21S again.

Both are special and simply a pleasure to use.

I use MW on my customer`s cars because it lasts longer than Carnauba, more cost effective, can be applied in the sun, and it gives beautiful results. For my car however, it gets VMW and Souveran because I love the liquid look.

Moose Wax is a great wax though.
