I started to detail the ride today but it got cut short due to a B-day party. I am finished with the #9 but now the car has to sit for 4-5 hours. When I come home I want to use some CM QD to be sure there isn`t any dust on it before I start the sealer and glaze. Is this OK to do?

Thanks!

Joe

PS. The car is in the garage.

I wouldn`t use CM because of the carnauba content. That could cause issues with bonding. If you are going to QD then I would use one that has no carnauba in it at all. Or you can just wash the car again real quick. Its probably not that dusty anyway. After only 4 or 5 hours its probably still clean having been kept in the garage. If you have a CCD then you could use that I guess. Not much to worry about in your case I don`t believe.

I wouldn`t worry too much about using CM personally, since Mothers Sealer & Glaze isn`t a polymer sealant that does any bonding. I imagine it`ll just clean off anything it doesn`t like with its solvents anyway.
