I`m looking to offer a 1 step paint process to customers and I`m liking PwC lately.
How long can I expect just PwC to last compared to EX/EXP?

I say my PwC lasted at least 3 weeks before I messed with my car again. Ex-P I have no idea. I just put on the 2nd coat after the 1st one was down for 2 weeks.

Scott over at SMP told me 2-3 months, I`ve not used mine yet so I do not know for sure.

I was told that while it is called Polish with Carnauba, it actually contains some synthetic protectants as well. I`m not sure what ratio of carnauba/synthetic it uses but I`m sure that play`s a big role in determining the product`s durability. I`ve never used it by itself though, so I can`t speak from experience on this matter.

EX-P seems to last about 4 months for me before it starts to lose its slickness, but not its shine. EX lasts about the same except that the carnauba look begins to fade at around the 2 month mark. PwC has a completely different look but also seems to last about 4 months. All my cars are garaged.

So you think PwC lasts as long as the others huh? If so, that`s great!

I`ve used PwC on a couple black explorers and it changed the look big time.....made them so much "blacker" (is that a word? :lol)

For me, all 3 last about the same amount of time. They just look different, and PwC can be used as a one step product. PwC also makes a great base for EX or EX-P, so I`d keep it on hand for its versatility.

Thanks.
I`m not really the "topper" type but I keep it for 1 step jobs.
