I was thinking about something yesterday and it reminded me of my Altoids box with fising hooks, weights, etc. I use it when I need to pack light. Anyways, somehow I thought about the size the Clay Magic bar I just got and the Altoids box. Perfect fit! Sure, it isnt clear or elegant as the others but it works. This is better than sticking it in a plastic bag when im done.

How long of a period of time? Isnt that why you should spray some lube on the bar (as per instructions when storing)?

Lay a piece of plastic wrap across the opened box, and close the box. Voila! Airtight box!

What about rustproofing the casing? A small puddle of QD in the box isn`t gonna be good for it either.

You could always go out and get a small plastic fisherman`s tacklebox (like an otterbox) and cut the dividers off. My thinking was you get mints AND a free clay bar carrying case.
Water tight, crush proof, and Lifetime Guarantee. Of course this is negating the thread topic, since it probably costs twice as much as the clay bar.

You guys got me thinking. I`ve got one of those ID holders that you hang around your neck and take it to the beach. They are plastic and have a water/air tight seal. And they are usually $1 at Walgreens on sale...

how about getting a $1 soapdish with a hinged lid that doesnt have drains?
Or how about just an old jam jar or something?

how about a combination lock steel vault with walls three feet thick? You can put wheels on it so you can roll it to your car.. It`ll need good parking brakes so that it doesn`t roll into your car though, especially if its parked on an incline.
