On my dryer I don`t have a heat setting so I was wondering if this would be a good or bad thing? At what temperature will microfiber melt? I`ve heard pros and cons to line drying like they aren`t as soft or plush compared to putting them in the dryer.

Also, if people use hot water for washing microfiber, I don`t understand why it would be bad to dry them in the dryer. I doubt that a dryer would be hotter than washing in hot water. Am I missing something here?

The process I use is:

1) Wash all MF`s together on hot wash/cold rinse (nothing but MF in the washer!)
2) Only use soap, no fabric softener in the washer (or dryer).
3) Clean out the dryer lint trap.
4) Put MF`s in the dryer for 20-25 minutes. I use full heat.

I`ve never had a problem with the process above.

:yeah
The only other step I have is to soak the MFs in a bucket of hot water and Dawn first.
Dawn seems to remove more of the wax residue, plus the washing machine is spotless when I am done ... that keeps my wife happy!

Thanks for the tip kimwallace, my wife gets on me about the washing machine for that reason.
