Do you guys use different systems/products when you detail cars that are different colors? If so what are they?

There was some talk sometime ago about Klasse looking better on darker cars and Zaino on lighter coloured cars. I would doubt if one system is better designed for a colour. A good product is a good product, no matter what the colour or make of car.

Not sure if this answers your question?

My roadster is black and my SUV is white, and they each have very different characteristics for prepping, protection, and routine maintenance. Which methods/products are “best†for light or dark colors? Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder it’s up to you to decide what works best for you on your particular car.

My suggestion is to do as much prepping (clay, polish, glaze) as suits you, then a few (3 or more) layers of a synthetic (Klasse, Zaino, Platinum, etc.). Now try topping the synthetic with a good carnauba (SouverÃn, P21S, S100, etc.). Find out what suits you.

Good luck and have fun!
