I just finished QDing with Pinnacle Crystal Mist and enjoying the aroma then I put a coat of Klasse SG on my wheels, thinking the SG smells kinda bland - not bad, just bland. What makes your rancid list......

hmmm...

(a) Eagle One Wipe `n Shine: I HATE THAT DAMNED SMELL

(b) Meg`s #7 and/or #26 don`t smell all that great, but they`re pretty good products.

(c) 3M SMR smells... interesting.

(d) not a big fan of the way AIO smells, but it`s great stuff. Same with SG.

I think Klasse SG has a pretty pungent smell. Sort of like a plastic milk bottle that has been sitting in the garage in anticipation of an oil change... only not quite so strong.

For some reason the combo of Quik Clay and Quik Detailer always sickened me. It doesn`t smell rancid, more like a sickly sweet. It always made me a bit queasy.

Plexus isn`t great, and Renovo plastic polish is pretty gross.

Acid wheel cleaner smells real bad, and taste even worse :)

This may be why I don`t use it any more!

I agree SG and AIO are nasty. Reminds me of bad milk that has been sitting around in your refrig.

I hate the smell of Meg Endurance...can`t stand that grape smell.

The worst ever for me, was an industrial carpet cleaning fluid from my brother`s carpet cleaning company. This stuff was designed to take out animal urine, oil stains etc... out of carpets. This stuff was a clear liquid but the smell was so powerful that if you got enough of a wiff, you would vomit!! I guess that is why you are suppose to use a Niosh face mask!! Personally, I could still smell it through the mask as well!!

But....it sure worked better than any consumer/store bought item!!!:up

You guys already nailed my top 10 list. AIO smells the worst I think. There isn`t anything I put on the outside of my car that smells worse than when you buff off AIO in the sun or any kind of heat. The original Platinum smelled pretty bad too. I think Lexol takes the cake. It smells like...well, I`ve already used that comparison once this month so I`ll have to save it. :D Anyway, it smells baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

I`m surprised no one has mentioned NuFinish? :nixweiss

Unless the smell of kerosene is suddenly in vogue these days.... :D
