View Full Version : Removing scratches from Windsheild

I did a search on this topic and read a lot of material, but I never got a definitive answer on if scratches can be removed from glass.

My 99 Infiniti with 97,000 miles on it has awful pitting and scratches from the windsheild wipers on the windsheld. I am not worried about the pitting, just the scratches from the windsheild wiper. They don`t seem very deep - I can`t feel them.

I`d like to use something with my PC, but I don`t know if I can use Swirl Mark Remover on the windsheild. I read DavidB`s post and he said nothing with any oils or fillers can be used on glass.

What should I buy that I can use with my PC to give it a try?

Thanks,

- Anthony

CMA sell a kit, I cannot remember if it is for a PC, it does make use of Autoglym Glass Polish though.

I have a similar job coming up this spring - I plan on just trying AG Glass Polish with a polishing or cutting pad. I`m still undecided but since glass is harder than paint I`ll probably go cutting.
