This is my first detail as business. Someone used steel wool to remove tar and other spots.

Can you "spill the beans" and tell us what you used to perform such a miracle??? OR, is there too much detailer competition in your area???:xyxthumbs

Yes, too much competition.... using steel wool! :scared

I`ve used Menzerna`s Fast Cut (where needed) and Intensive Polish.

Then, in the hood, Mother`s 1st and 2nd step of their 3 step (testing ;) ).

On the rest, 1Z polymer wax-polish, a mild polisher w/ polymers, kind of a sealent.

The wax, I was sure of what it was going to be cause of the car color, 1Z Glanz Wax. Only the hood had the right to a coat of P21S wax, just to see...

But, as I thought, 1Z gloss rocks on silver!:xyxthumbs

You know, they might have used the bristle side of a house hold sponge. My doofus friend just DEMOLISHED his paint on his ford explorer with the wrong side of a sponge trying to remove bird ish and bug tar.

It is really a shame that so many DIY car washers end up damagin their paint because of impatience and inability.

Sad thing is, when using an abrasive sponge/steel wool, you cant see the damage while you are working. Only after the car dries is the carnage revealed.

Never-the-less, great work!!! You did good to your first customer.
