I see products that contain intems such as teflon and silicone...are these usually good or bad things to have?
Try using the Search to find out more specific info. Teflon has been discussed a LOT, and silicone is a much more complicated issue.
Teflon isn`t harmful, but isn`t considered helpful or useful. Silicone depends on what kind of silicone.... If you`re talking about vinyl/rubber dressings just stay away from products with warnings about petroleum distillates and use stuff that`s like a milky white water.

I agree. Most products that say they contain Teflon dont actually contain any amount. Teflon cannot properly bond to any surface under a certain temperature, I think its near 700 degrees farenheight.
Its just a marketing scam. :xyxthumbs
