Is detailing the lower areas of your ride a pain in the back? I’ve tried sitting on a creeper, a canvas beach chair, a plastic bucket, etc., and although they are better than kneeling or sitting on the cold concrete, they just haven’t quite done the trick!
A couple of weeks ago I was in Home Depot and saw the Sof-Styles Foam Mats on display and a $15 package of four mats went into my cart. The mats are 2’x2’ and 1/2” thick dense foam and come in gray or primary colors. The have tabs along all edges so they can be interlocked like jig-saw puzzle pieces.
I interlocked three squares together to form a 2’x6’ mat and dropped it on the floor in front of my roadster and went to work cleaning up the marring on the bottom and front of my bumper. After an hour of playing with my bumper the paint looked great and my back didn’t hurt! You can kneel on the mat, sit on it, or lie down on it - - all very comfortable.
