Ok guys, I got my new Clearkote order, so naturally I had to try it out on this beautiful day in Kansas. I washed it with Eimann Fabrik Powerwash plus, then I put Vanilla Moose wax on with the white CMA pad, then followed it up with Moose Wax with the grey CMA pad. Then I did my wheels with VMW and MW, then finished up the paint with Quick Shine.

Mind you, this car is a 1992 with almost 100k miles on the clock. Original paint and in my humble opinion, it looks damn good!!

Edit: the last 3 pics are of an X5 I did today, same Clearkote treatment.

Looks great! What did you think of the ease of use of Vanilla Moose and Moose Wax? How about the slickness? I don`t think I`ve felt anything as slick as Vanilla Moose leaves the paint!

Scott- to be honest, I have never used anything that is as easy to use as this system. The VMW left the paint extremely smooth and then it just got more smooth after the MW. This is definitely the product I have been waiting to use on my customer`s cars because it is economical, easy to use, and wonderful results. Thanks Scott for turning me on to this product, I am very happy. I will post up a couple more pics tomorrow.

I like the first photo, it really shows of the car`s muscular profile :xyxthumbs

I nearly bought an older M3 :)

Clearkote is very nice I have to say. What do you use on the tyres?

Greg-you scared Mr. Glass. He saw the post but was at a car show and couldn`t get into the actual post from his laptop (he reads the posts, but doesn`t want to post himself to maintain the integrity of the board-prefers satisfied customers do the talking for him), and he called me to ask if I had seen it, because in the thread title, you used the word `aftermath`, which is often used to describe the scene after a disaster!

I made sure he knew you were very satisfied with the performance of his products. :xyxthumbs

Scott- that is too funny. I used the term tongue and cheek along with the thumbs up smiley to clarify for just that reason. Oh well, we all need a good scare once in a while. Tomorrow, an AMG SL500 will be getting the treatment. :D I am excited!
