I`m going to be using a PC for the first time and I have noticed people talking about counter weights. I have the counter weight that came with my PC along with 6" backing plate and 6" pads from CMA.

Do I need to change my counter weight or is what came with the PC ok for the pads and backing plate I`m using from CMA?

A counter weight is used to offset vibration therefore increasing machine life and ease of operation. The PC will vibrate even with the counterweight. The closer you can match the counter weight to the PC pads and backing plate the less vibration.

It is going to vibrate so hold on!

No matter what pad/plate combo you`re running, the heavier 6" counterweight (comes with the 7336 and is stamped on the weight) is better for fewer vibes. :up
