Has anyone used the 100% cotton flannel cloths from Walmart? It`s in the automotive section for about $5 for 6- 14x24 size cloths. Would you use these to buff & polish, or should I just go with regular 100% cotton towles or microfibre? I`m using it along with some Zaino car products.

Hi clco, welcome to Autopia! :wavey

I don`t believe that flannel, in general, has many fans here. At least, none that I`ve heard of. The reason probably being that it doesn`t have any nap like terry-style cloths have to trap dust and particles. It`s too bad because these things often do feel nice and soft...

Most people like either quality MF towels or certified Made in USA (or Canada? :D) 100% cotton towels from the linen aisle.

My sister in law purchased these, the cloths were very thin and linted like mad. Therefore not useful for dusting or buffing.

I prefer terry or waffle MF`s because they provide more protection and give dirt or particles a place to go.
