Well, it was nice out yesterday (upper 30`s....I`M DESPERATE!!!) so I decided to detail the Jetta. I did a rather swift detail job hitting the car with Mother`s Clay, 3M-SMR, and S100. Reason for me doing so is because I plan to go over the car with SMR again and apply a sealant topped with a carnauba once the weather warms. As you can see below, none of the pics are really that great because of the poor lighting. I will make sure to take better pics next time I wash the car (it rained today).

The whole car had hairline scratches and MAJOR swirling from the previous owner, this pic does NOT do the swirls or other deffects justice.

More *daytime* pics are on the way.

ScrampaTeg03,

Good job on the Jetta! :xyxthumbs

If you get a chance, pick up some SEPC/GEPC and use it after SMR. It will make the surface very slick add a nice pop to the paint before applying S100.

Cheers,

Looks good and I share your weather frustration. It was supposed to be 58 and partly cloudy today (Saturday) and it was 45 and it started to drizzle as I finished dressing my tires after washing and waxing my car. :(
