Traditionally I have always applied past wax with a soft cloth but now I see people buying foam pads.

Is anyone out there applying S100 with a `throw away` cotton flannel cloth and is this still the best way???

Thanks.

Most any applicator will work fine. Microfiber, cotton terry, flannel, foam, even a new kitchen sponge are acceptable.

I like the larger foam applicators for s100. They fit your hand better for better control. I purchased a viking foam applicator from auto zone. Its larger that the s100 jar but it grips well and conforms to the surface. The only problem is getting the wax on the applicator. The meguiars yellow hand foam applicators are ok but when I get wax on my hand I have the tendency to drop the applicator. I like the mf applicator for Sg.

I`ve always used a yellow foam pad. I found that using the mf pads didn`t work too well because I couldn`t get the product in the center of the pad as easily. They are just a little too big to fit in the jar when it starts to get low.

I use the pad that came in the S100 wax. A little goes such a long way and I apply so little pressure that it works great. It is just as easy and almost as quick to wax with S100 as it is to QD the car.
