I changed the oil in my daughter`s 2000 4Runner last weekend. When I do this I wash and apply a layer of AIO. I keep records for oil change purposes so I know the last time was September 21, 2002. This car sits out 24/7. Anyway AIO did not last the 5 months and I did not expect it to last that long.

just a little infor.

Good info. I have heard the same thing said for zaino. I expect it depends on the conditions and how lond it is exposed to these conditions.

AIO isn`t supposed to last for 5 months. Its primarily a cleaning product. The SG is the product that lasts forever. AIO is not much more than a cleaner and a good base for whatever you put on next. You are doing good to get 2 or 3 months out of AIO in a good climate.

I slightly diagree with Tony, I think it can last long BUT not if you`re only washing the car only every 5 months during oil changes.

All of us here wash on at least a bi-weekly basis, you`re going to have to step up to SG if you want that kind of protection.

As for AIO, 2-3 coats, 20 minutes between should last long, if the car is washed regularly (at least once a month or as needed)

Follow the AIO with SG, even here in Houston in the summer it`s good for 5 months+.
