I just wanted to show off a new car poster that I had made to display at car shows I do. The poster was done by a friend of mine who is a graphic designer. The poster basically has a list of all of the modifications that have been done to the car. I have a small easel that I display the poster on next to the car.

The poster was very reasonably priced. If any forum member is interesting in having one done just PM me and I will put you in touch with the person who did it for me. I picked the frame up at a local craft store for next to nothing. This is the second one that I have had done. I had to redo it since I recently upgraded my wheels which really changed the look of the car.

I have gotten a ton of comments about it at shows and its nice for people to read what you have done to the car.

That is a pretty cool idea. I`ve seen that a couple times at car shows and it definatly shows that there is a little more love involved with the car. You can`t go throught the effort of making one of those up and not love the car. :xyxthumbs

Very well done. Very professional and tasteful. At some concours self promotion is not allowed but when it is your example is perfect. Restrained, classy, informative and doesn`t take anything away from the car.

Good job!:up

Pats300zx,

That is super poster for your Z! :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

At the shows that allow it, I really enjoy being able learn about each car. A well done poster like yours really sets your car apart from the other cars at the show.

Keep up the great work!

I`ve seen another approach at some Jaguar Concours. Folks avoid self-promoting displays during the judging portion. But when the judging is complete, and folks are still milling about, out come the posters, trophies, and various "props." I think those are fun.

I agree. I don`t bring out the poster and display at all shows I do. Its depends on the show that I am doing. I am not one to bring a box of trophies and pile them up in front of the car.

I never could really understand that.

My sign states, car info, club affiliation, and mods. It rests on the Strut Tower Brace and is held to the hood with Velcro, so the wind doesn`t blow it off.
