Here are some shots of my A4 featured at the Import Revolution car show in Honolulu in December. I took 2nd place in the best shine kit..only beacause I don`t own a Honda.

After 22 hours accumulated detailing and 7 coats of

polish/sealant/wax later, I think it turned out pretty well.

Very nice work. I`ll bet all those bright lights were a little stressful for some. No swirls could hide under lighting like that. It makes it even harder on the guys who really want to look good. Well done on your ranking. #2 in any show is awesome. Did you see the #1 car? What did you think about it? Were you robbed?

"Robbed" is an understatement....I took 2nd to a riced out Honda with a bunch of swirls and scratches in the paint. He didn`t even clean his wheels or dress his tires.

And yes, the UV lights and dust floating around in the expo center were hell. Since my car is fairly new, I don`t really have swirls and scracthes that are bad enough to speak of, but it will still enoug of a chore to keep it looking good for 10 hours.

I hate when that happens. You put tons and tons of effort into prepping your car for a show and the first place goes to either someone in the car club hosting or one of his buddies.

I have had my fair share of shows where I just walked away shaking my head after seeing the results.

That is why I have switched from doing import shows to doing mainly 300zx concours shows. I was constantly losing to cars with playstations and white fuzz around the wheels.

FANTASTIC!! Absolutely love the mods to the Audi! Not that I am biased or anything!:D

Congrats on the award! We know you "really" won. But hey, second place is pretty cool, too!

Hi lawrencea,

I believe ThreeSixT used Klasse AIO & SG and P21S paste wax. I was at the show in support of a fellow Autopian :xyxthumbs

And yes, compared to the other cars in the show, I have to say ThreeSixT`s Audi was very well prepared for the show. He spent numerous hours getting it ready for the show. His Audi has smooth lines and the mods are actually factory mods and the paint is one of a kind. He told me that his Audi A4 was the only one to leave the factory in that color with those mods. A very nice ride.

Overall great job! Should have gotten 1st but I think his time will come soon enough.

With Aloha,

~Ranney:)
