I have a 99 Ford F-250 Super Duty and I just got done putting some Lite Cut on with my PC. I still have water spots on my hood that I can`t get out with my PC. I was just wondering if a clay bar would remove those "ugly" water spots?
You might want to try vinegar, but I don`t know if that will do anything since you`ve already tried polishing them out. If polishing with fine cut doesn`t remove them I doubt clay will since clay`s job is to remove dirt and stuff stuck on the surface... :nixweiss

How can Lite Cut and a PC NOT remove water spots.......?
Aren`t water spots just mineral deposits on the surface of the paint that are left over after water evaporates?
I can always clean them up with QD.
Yours must be some pretty extreme water spots.
