Just wondering if anyone has a garage that they can detail in. I have one and absolutely love it. It has a heater, hot water, and a drain so it doesn`t matter what kind of weather we have. I have a clean vehicle all winter long. Just thought that I would tell you guys that. LOL.

Jees. You must have a wonderful spouse! If I had all that in my garage, I`d never leave! ;)

My garage has a drain, hot and cold water, and a radio. It`s nice but what I really need is a heater. It can get pretty cold down there!!

Yea, I call it my Sanctuary... it`s heated, a/c, has a lift, large overhead storage for non-car items and a trap door and a winch to get large items there and pull down stairs, cable TV, stereo, room for 6 cars, an over size drain, I have my tool storage as well as detailing products well organized. It took me a while to get it that way but anyone can start somewhere.

Sam, just get some QEW and you wont have to wash in the cold outside, just the less cold inside..

RCG - I was in Las Vegas looking at houses because I thought the wife and I were going to move.. anyway, came across a house that was the sales home for the neighborhood, so the garage (former sales office) had water, central air and heat, etc..

Brad - I hope you never have to move.. but if you do, give me a call...:D

You bet! One side of my garage has a huge drain (Been there since 1917!) so I wash my cars there. The only drawback is that I have to rotate the cars to this one position to wash them. I don`t like washing them over the lift because I don`t want the lift to get all wet and rusty and the other side of the garage (a new addition) is not angled properly to send the water to the drain.

I usually crank up the heat or a/c and shuffle cars in and out. I set the garage doors to open up just enough for the particular cars that are parked there. They usually only go up over an inch over the roof of the car. It looks like the "Bat Cave" opening up, cars slipping out and the doors slipping down again! :D Gotta save my heat or cool that I built up inside!
