After seeing so many pics of you lovely cars, with their great shines, here`s few pics of my car.

Don`t know if you guys in the US are aware of the Renault Clio. It`s basically a small 3 or 5 door hatchback, normally with 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6 engines, that make an ideal run-around car.

The RenaultSport Clio, however, is put together by Renault`s racing division. It has a 2.0 engine, delivering 172bhp, which is quite a lot for such a small car. It goes from 0-60 in the high 6`s (around 6.7 - 6.9, according to some AP22 runs that have been made). The suspension is rock-hard, so it virtually sticks to the road in corners.

I gave it a wash today, and a little surface care and am quite pleased with the reflections. I have some S100 and SEC on the way - do you think I will see much of an improvement on what I already have?

Anyway, on with the pics

Do you have any wax or polish on the car now? It looks awesome......

(actually we would prefer to be called "Chaps"....;) )

Thanks for the comments, "Chaps" :D

All I did was:

1) Wash the car with Meg GC Shampoo. Buffed with MF.

2) Went over the car with Megs Clearcoat Body Scrub. Buffed with MF.

3) Applied 3M IHG. Buffed with MF.

4) Waxed using Turtle Wax Emerald Series 100% Carnuba Wax. Buffed with MF.

5) Applied a mist of water to the panels and buffed with MF.

6) Done wheels with same wax and tires with Megs Endurance Tyre Gel.

Now i`ve heard that there is no such thing as 100% Carnuba wax, because it would be rock-hard. Well, the stuff in the Emerald Wax tin IS rock-hard, Had to apply with a damp applicator, and it took a lot of work to get any wax on the applicator. Once I got going it was okay, though.

So, will I get better results with the S100/P21S - what do you think?

Cheers

Can you remember how much p&p you paid to CMA. I`ve got and order of 2 x s100 and 2 x sec plus 4 MF`s on the way and was hoping you could remember.

Also, did you get hit by customs?

Cheers,

That looks ... damn. :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

P21S? I`ma set up a little shrine for my P21S. It`s great. And I dunno how much better your car could get, but if it can, then I`m sure P21S will be part of it.

Good job!

Nice car. I only wish they imported the Clio V6 to the USA.

I wish they imported that car to the US also. It would be a great daily driver.

It was a fantastic car to upgrade and race on Grand Turismo 3 for plastation 2.

I am exceptionally impressed with how terrific your car looks! Europeans are so sensible when it comes to having small cars for everyday- better fuel efficiency, esier to park in urban european streets, etc.

Your experiece with the Turtle Wax you said was difficult. With P21S, it will be EZ as Mockingbird pie.

It goes on and off so easily that you`ll be able to apply it as often as you like, which even though it lasts a very long time, will be useful to you in the rainy UK!

Cheers,

John
