Fellow Deatilers,

Just bought a 99 Lexus LS400 on Monday, and would like some tips on detailing.

The car is in absolutely perfect condition, but I noticed small scratches on the walnut surface right in front of the shifter, probably from laying sunglasses or a cell phones instead of putting them where they belong

My question is, should try to buff these out with Zaino Z5?

Any help would be appreciated (can`t wait until the weekend to detail the whole thing :D )

Thanks,

Paul

You might be able to try the Novus system for plastics. They sell 3 different polishes for plastics. The most abrasive is #3. #1 is the regular cleaner and is similar to Megs Plastic Cleaner/Polish.

I used Novus #1 and #2 on some scratched taillight lenses that I had. It did a very nice job.
