We are having a disagreement on whether gold class is a polymer based wax or carnuba. I am maintaing that it is a polymer based, while another person says its carnuba. Thanks.

Meguiar`s Gold Class is a blend of polymer and carnauba, with some cleaners added into the blend.

It provides a nice shine and has a very light cleaning ability to it, more of a step between a true cleaner wax (I believe Meguiar`s cleaner/wax in burgundy/maroon bottle has a stronger cleaner in it) and a pure wax (has no cleaners in the wax, like Meguiars #26 or P21S.)

I have a can sitting at home. I don`t use it much anymore. It doesn`t last long but provides a good shine (clouds up certain german finishes in my experience (a 2000 silver BMW....)

If going Meguiar`s I would go with #26, but why not add $5 more and get a can of S100 wax which gets rave reviews on this forum.

My P21S kit is on the way!!!!

Oh, I have no intention of using Meguiars Gold Class on my Bimmer, I have got everything Pinnacle and P21S known to man pretty much, but it was just a little debate. Thanks for clarifying it though.
