I want to dye my stock gray headliner black. Whats the best stuff to use and where can I buy it? Any tips?

Also, what should I do about the gray plastic peices like the grab handles on the ceiling, sunroof controls, visors, etc..

I drive an 01 VW Jetta.

I`m not sure about your headliner, I guess you could dye it. Check out The Eastwood Company (http://www.eastwoodco.com/) for plastic trim dye. Look under the Search by Category for the Interior/Exterior link, then hit the Interior Tools & Supply link and go to page 4.

Very hard to do right. The material of headliners is very sensitive to anything you put on it and will most like turn out bad. You might wanna think about having it recovered in vinyl.

But why do you really want to do it? Nobody will notice it anyway. Besides, you do know that as soon as it gets warm outside you will really bake inside that car, right? Even with A/C, as soon as you turn off the car, it will instantly heat up, trust me...!
