I am building by detailing collection an am looking at buying some detailing brushes. Horsehair, boarhair, China hair, my hair (just kidding) so many choices. Wouldn`t mind some for waxing, interior and engine use. And of course, where to get them.

Thanks Again

Brushes should not be used for waxing nor IMO washing paint.....

China bristle paint brushes work great for dusting interiors....

OXO soft wash brushes work good for wheels and lower panel body parts that may have a texture.......

A good tire brush.....many out there to shoose from.....

Some like the Cali Duster or equal for inbetween dustings of the paint.......

check some threads do a search and see what others have stated in the past......

Just my opinion, but I noticed Meguiar`s has some good-looking brushes. I`ll probably pick some up next time I order from them, along with 12 more foam applicators.

They also have these brushes:

fjt- Well, I can`t miss an opportunity to get back on my soapbox Re the brushes! Check out Griot`s Garage. Their boar`s hair wash brush and their smaller boar`s hair detail brushes work great for me. Their Flow-through brush is lousy, though. Here`s the link where we beat this topic to death, assuming my link works!

Hello,

has anyone had experience with the wheel/tire brushes sold at target? I think they`re marketed under the name of Baja Sol. How are they compared to oxo brushes?

i`d assume that you guys would get a separate brush for wheel wells?

I purchased a Baja Sol brush but never used it because on a subsequent trip to Walmart I found some cheaper Viking brushes. Before returning the Baja Sol`s I did note that the Viking brushes for wheels and body is softer than the Baja Sol body brush.
