Bill,

You may also want to look into getting one of these........

http://store.yahoo.com/tolae/telwasglov.html

I picked up a couple of these late last fall. I have an 4WD F-150 Supercrew, and this mitt/handle comes in real handy. The mitt is pretty decent lambswool, and can be removed to wash. Standing on a 2" stool, I can reach all the way across the roof, windshied, and tonneau cover from one side.

Anyhow............. just a thought!

Menard`s has a work platform on sale for $29 right now.

That Gorilla platform is the best thing I`ve ever bought! I absolutely love it!

Costco has a similar one for a little less. It`s a little smaller, but is comparable.

Costco has a version of the gorilla platform for about $20.

Boss, wal mart had those on clearance(around here anyway) last month for about $5, I bought a bunch! Very cool when detailing large trucks and SUV`s.
