I had a Grand Am to do today that had some paint stuck to the carpet, the paint they use to do the yellow lines on the road. All of the paint came off surprisingly easy. I used a 25:75 solution of Simple Green and water (25-Simple Green:75-water). Sprayed it on, let it set for about 2 minutes, then agitated, came right out. I tested for color fastness under the front seat first, no problem.
Continued to steam clean the rest of the carpet and upholstery in the car, and cleaned the dash, and windows. Customer was happy, and I was happy I could get the paint out without too much grief!
