Short answer-no.
Repainting is your only hope at this point.
Is that repaint or Factory Orginal. If it`s factory, I`d call up Nissan and show them the pictures. That;s a pretty serious defect from the factory as no matter what little care the owner may have given, a clear shouldn`t ever fail that badly. Reminds me of the Crysler New Yorker problem of the early 90`s.

Many nine year old cars look like that in the sun belt. My light blue metallic paint was starting to do that after seven years. :(

Maybe wet-sanding like that one thread where someone had a link to the BMW that was re-did. Looked bad, now looks amazingly new. Looked like A LOT of work but cheaper than a repaint.
Excuse me while I defibrilate my heart!
Strike 1: It`s red
Strike 2: Clear coat failure

look at this way, you now have a canvas with which to practice using your favorite tool (PC? Rotary? you pick) :D

To answer your question... No...
But...
It`s a great time to practice wetsanding, rotary restoration and such... :) It won`t solve much, but I`m pretty confident that you can make that look a tad better than it is now... if there`s still enough paint left.

I don`t think I have seen it that bad before. You must repaint.
Looks like swiss cheese. a 94? I am guessing around 75 / 95 thousand miles? Maybe you should buy a new car. It will make a great practice slate for your detailing hobby.
Good luck on your decision

Yeah, but that was a single stage paint job. When clear coat/base coat paint jobs fail like that, repainting is the only hope since the base coat depends on the clear coat for it`s shine.
