Ok guys, it is about 35 degrees outside, the IS300 is in the garage, i think it is slightly warmer in the garage (about 42). Is this a high enough temperature to repair paint chips? Also the car is somewhat dirty, how can i clean the chipped area without washing the car?

ok, i found on david`s article do not attempt doing a chip below 60 degrees F. Is there a reason? the paint wont dry?

primarilly yes, the paint won`t dry nearly as well, and when it does dry, the bond to the surrounding paint won`t be as strong... the chip will likely return as the patch will "pop out." ;)
