How long does #7 last? I had a customer who had to leave early on Saturday and I only had a coat of #7 on. So I was wondering if I can continue on after a wash or do I have to strip it down and start all over? It will be about 7 days time, Saturday I did the polish and she is coming back Friday. Thanks.

7 days?? Its gone. Depending on conditions sometimes it only lasts a few hours. No more than a day or two.

It aint called "show car glaze" for nuthin`. :)

What about with #26 or S100 over it?

#7 topped with #26 topped with S100?

I give it 8 weeks if used normally. In harsh weather even less.

Although one would think that the #26 would last longer than S100 because it has polymers in it, in practice the S100 will probably outlast the #26, all things being equal. Neither are gonna last a long time but you will likely get a couple more weeks of protection from the S100. Plus the shine will be better.

Personally I don`t think #26 is all that. Lots of people use it because it`s inexpensive and available everywhere. But S100 is a superior product in all performance categories.

id give s100 a try if i were you, i have #26, and i used it over mothers sealer and glaze, and it beaded very well up until the 5th week. Im curious to see how s100 works out and if its any easier than #26. By the way, removal is a b***** with #26 if left on too long!!!!
