Well I just got done using DACP using CMA`s Yellow Pad on my 97 Jetta VR6. Car already looks 10x better. Most of the light scratches are gone, paint does not look dry, and some of the spiderwebbing still remains under garage lights. Here is my question:

Should I follow up with 3Ms SMR using CMA`s White Pad? Any advantages or disadvantages? Will Machine Glaze plus BF polish hide remaining spiderwebbing and very light hazing from DACP?

Here is my original plan:

Wash

Pinnacle Clay

Wash again

DACP

SMR

Machine Glaze

BF Polish

BF Protectant

Whewwwwww!!! I need everyones opinion on the SMR. If I could skip this step it would really cut down on my time working on the car. Waking up at 8 am to finish up. Thanks in advance!

My best advice to you is:

try the SMR on a (small) section and inspect the results.

You have 2 options :

1)there`s a noticably improvement : then proceed with SMR

2) no improvment: skip that step.

I think it`s worth the try.

Are you planning on doing by hand or PC?

everything is going to be applied with a PC.
