There have been several posts lately regarding the use of wax over new paint. Most say to wait 30 or more days. What about using a QD that contains carnauba? Is the carnauba content great enough to affect the paint?

Personaly I stick to the rules:
new paint = gentle carwash (PH = 7)
and
only bodyshop-safe glaze for the first 30 days
just to be on the safe side

Most caranuba based QD`s don`t contain enough to harm anything, plus the have almost no durability and don`t last long. I don`t think you would have any problems. If you want to stay on the safe side then use a non-caranuba based QD.
