After promising myself to stop the frustration of trying to dry a car with a 16x16" JT international MF, I decided to scour the net to see how big a MF I could get for a reasonable price.

Griot`s Yellow Microfiber drying towel (waffle, 25x35") $26.95 (http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_1000&L2=L2_1003&SKU=11117)

CMA Big Blue Drying towel (waffle, 24x35") out of stock (normally $19.95) (http://www.properautocare.com/bigbludryint.html)

Microfiber Tech Big MF Towel (waffle 28x54") $17.95 (http://www.microfibertech.com/largeWaffle-weave.html)

The Big Blue again? (waffle, 24x35") $16.95 (http://www.premiumautocare.com/wafweavdryin.html)

Don`t forget Tom @ JT Intl`l

28x54 inch waffleweave 16.50 mint green

I have these and they are super!

I have been told the new waffle weave towels at premiumautocare are the best yet. Of course, the person telling me was not the most unbiased opinion :D

I didn`t mention JTinternation b/c I couldn`t find it online. Trust me, I looked.

So, the premium auto towel isn`t the same as a big blue?

Currently (not including JTi), I`m leaning toward the microfiber tech towel. I really need a good drying solution, but at a low cost.

Yea I know. Tom G. doesn`t have a website. To get his current stock and prices you`ll need to email him at jtintern@hotmail.com.

One last thing....my own personal opinion is that the 28x54 size is maybe a bit too big. It`s very hard to keep it from dragging on the ground when doing lower body panels. Perhaps the next size down would be perfect. Plus, it`ll be a few $$ less..nice added benie. This will most likely be the size waffle weave I go for next time;

24x46 inch waffleweave

12.00 gold (low), mint green (low), blue

I got the waffle weave towels in both sizes from Tom. I much prefer them to a regular mf towel for drying.

I`ve got 2 of the 28x54 towels from JTI and I think they`re perfect. I want 2 more for Xmas. I dry all the horizonal surfaces first by laying it flat on a panel and then rubbing my hands across the towel like I was smoothing out wrinkles. This size allows me to dry the whole trunk lid at one time and the roof and hood in three sections. I then fold the towel into fourths and use it to pat the sides dry.

I assume the 30x60" is at the above link. Is this bath towel safe enough for car use?

I just ordered one Microfiber Tech towel.

I would say the JTi towels are inexpensive...not cheap as in cheap quality. I`ve found everything I`ve ordered from JTi to be of very good quality.

frederf..yes they are called bath only because of size but they are unbelievabley soft and absorbant, and safe for vehicles.

also went to my local bed bath and beyond as to a reference to their mf towels on a diffent post...they are made for the bath only...very rough feeling, they even had some real expensive ones made by aquis? and they actually put their brand label in the middle when it`s not removable at all.
