View Full Version : boring, but important...washing foam applicators?

hi everyone,



Ok, got a bunch of foam applicator pads. Some have been used to apply wax, others been used to apply paint cleaners.



need to wash these things the "right" way. what do you all recommend..

I would say wash it in a clean bucket with warm water. Use your hands so they don`t get ruined. Then rinse with warm water.

Air dry.

If they have been used for caranuba soak them in warm/hot water with Dawn. Let them soak then rinse with warm water and air dry.



If they have been used for polymer products soak them in alcohol and then rinse with warm water. Air Dry.

Sorry disregard my previous post! I thought those Foam Applicator pads were NEW...

I wash mine in the washing machine with my terry cloth towels and my chenile sponge. I use Tide and hot water and it works great. They come out very clean.
