Well, I decided to save some money so I rotated my tires this afternoon. On the very last removal, I got sloppy and let the wrench hit my wheel and I knocked off a chunk of clearcoat about 1/4" in diameter.

What do I do to repair this?:scared

Well, let`s see how much I really saved after this is all over...

For a temp repair, try using clear fingernail polish. It`ll prevent water getting under the surrounding area and popping more clearcoat off from pressure while the wheel is turning.

Why not use clear touch up paint? Works just fine for me.:)

you can find Clear in any automotive store that carries touch up paint (like Pep boys) or the dealer... BMW has one for sure,l their touch up paint kit came with color and clear.
