Has anyone tried these new funky looking pads from CMA? I need to purchase some foam pads and just thought I`d check to see if anyone had any input on how well these work on a DA polisher.

CMA describes them the following way:

"While these pads were designed for the professional detailer and body shop, they offer a number of advantages to the enthusiast. These pads are very user friendly. They are easy to control, even for first time users, and virtually eliminate pad squeak and skip. They`re great for spot buffing or entire vehicle buffing.

The difference between these pads and our standard Variable Contact Foam Pads gets a little technical so bear with me. Our standard pads are made from thermally reticulated polyurethane foam with a 99% open cell structure. This allows our standard pads to operate at a much lower temperature for paint safety. These Finger Pads are made from a pre-polymer foam with a 50% open cell structure. This particular combination is so unique it is covered by four US patents and is sold throughout Europe by the German, Wurth conglomerate."

I purchased one of the white "fingure" pads a couple of weeks ago. It`s a good pad, however not at high speeds. Lots of splattered klasse on the windsheild. What I do like is the curved pads that CMA sells those and the orange pad very nice:xyxthumbs

I too did not get splatter and yes they do say to apply product directly to the surface being detailed. One major problem I`ve had with mine is that it will fling off of the PC when I start to lighten pressure at higher speeds!!! Has anyone else had this problem? Anything you`re doing differently with this pad than the others?
