I just installed a lovely new exhaust on my M3, complete with dual stainless steel straight tips.... Looks fantastic...Now I wanna know how ot keep it that way.
What metal polishes are safe for this purpose?
thanks all

I use Meguiars All Metal Polish on mine, it works nice. I`ve tried Eagle one wadding polish and Mothers Chrome Polish but the AMP seemed to be removing oxidation after the other two had stopped.

My car has polished stainless tips and I just wipe them off every week or two with a spray of Meguiar`s Extra. This works great.

I use Z-2 on mine, before I found Zaino I would have used a metal polish like Meg`s All Metal Polish or the EO or Mothers stuff in a can.
Pictures!! :D

I`ve found Never-Dull (metal polish impregnated into cotton wadding) to work well for exhaust tips . . .

I like Autosol, cheap, yet very effective.

I like Meguiars AMP. Great for removing oxidation and tarnish from metals.

I have used a bunch:
Never Dull
EO Alum Polish
Megs Gold Glass Metal Polish
Blue Magic Metal Polish
I recently got some Eagle One Billet Metal Polish. The stuff is incredible. Its a little expensive but worth it.:xyxthumbs

I have had really good results with the Luster Lace strips followed by the Luster Seal. I use it on the stainless tips on my M5.
